Family Photo Session

Brandon's family had a family photo session in mid-October. It was so much fun trying to pose in different ways, knowing how uncomfortable we all were! Haha. There were lots of laughs, thats for sure. The pictures turned out great. There were SO MANY! I can't wait to have some of them framed for our NEW house (more on that later). Towards the end of the session, Amanda (sister-in-law) pulled Owen aside and said she had an outfit change for him.
At first I didn't think much about it, but then it hit me… an outfit change at the closing of the session? Something must be up :) Sure enough, when she turned him around...

We are all so excited to be welcoming a new little cousin! Baby Rory will be here in May. How exciting! I loved the way Amanda announced. The photographers captured the surprise from beginning to end. Wonderful.

Sweet Stuff, right?! (Although, we were waiting for Maw Maw to faint at any time)
Now that you've seen the aftermath of the BIG announcement…
here are some before shots.

Great pictures! Thanks for sticking around. See ya soon...

4th Annual Harris Halloween Bash

I am sharing pictures of the Annual Harris Halloween Party. Of course we (well I) always love dressing up and seeing all of the other costumes. This year I went as Rosie the Riveter and Brandon and Owen went as The Captain and his little buddy (Gilligan). Definitely not our most creative year, but fun nonetheless. Enjoy!

A jam session with Papa.

Savannah Trip - Oct. 2013

You have heard me say it before, but... Savannah…oh how we love that city! In early October 2013 Brandon and I went on another trip (our 5th total) to our favorite place. This time we went with our good friends The Kellys. This was Marty and Melissa's first time visiting, and they left with the same feeling that we did…"When are we going back?!" We ate at some of our favorite restaurants (The Olde Pink House and Rocks on the River, just to name a couple) and we took 2 different ghost tours. It seems that they are the same stories each time, just different interpretations. Regardless, its a must do each time we go. Here are some pictures from our trip.

This picture is terrible quality… but I had to share.
We had just arrived and were SO excited!

Colonial Park Cemetery
Also a must if visiting Savannah. The tombstones have so much history.
I could spend hours walking around and reading each of them.

I'm not sure we were ready for this one.

 Much better!

Model of the city. It was an audio tour, very interesting!
Savannah Theatre

Waiting for our ghost tour guide!

So really… "When are we going back!?!?"
