Alicia's Wedding 4.30.11

Brandon, Lesley, Joel and I went to Alicia's wedding today. She was married at the same place that Brandon and I were. It brought back some memories! Here are some photos:

The Final Countdown...

I was getting on the blog today to do some posting when something very interesting caught my eye... Ladies and Gentlemen... There is less than 100 days until my due date... I will repeat... LESS THAN 100 DAYS!!! .Wow. I can not tell you how excited and anxious I am to hold my baby boy. Well luckily I will not have to wait too much longer. YAY!

Welcome to Nursery Land...

Well I am almost 26 weeks pregnant and haven't done ONE THING for Owen's nursery. I know, this sounds nothing like me. I never imagined how busy I would be! We have a few things we have to do before we begin the decorating process. First, we are laying hardwood floor and then we have to paint. After those things are done...it is NURSEY TIME!  We have decided to go with a nautical theme. I was so picky about not want anything super cheesy so this is the best compromise. I have included some pictures that are my inspiration. We found our bedding at Pottery Barn Kids. I can't wait until I can post pictures of a COMPLETED room! Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

I am OBSESSED with the room below. It is my dream nursery for Owen.

I love this, even though it is slightly more "Pirate" for my liking, I really like the look.

Pregnancy Questionnaire

• How far along? 6 months (25 weeks)
• How big is baby? 1.8 pounds! 1 foot long!
• Weight gain? 10 pounds and counting…eesh!
• Stretch marks? Not YET… Lots and lots of Cocoa Butter!!
• Maternity clothes? I have 3 pairs of maternity pants that I cycle through. I can still wear my regular tops though. I plan on wearing dresses through the summer.
• Sleep? I frequent the bathroom. If I don’t I am miserable and CAN’T sleep. I also have vivid nightmares lately.
• Best moment this week? I just love to feel him move and kick. It makes me smile every time!
• Food cravings? Ice Cream (any flavor-especially chocolate) 
• Gender? Baby BOY!!! Owen Harris Maynord
• Movement? I feel him all day everyday. He moves a lot when I eat cold things. Brandon has felt him as well.
• What I miss? Having a tan, sushi, and wine.
• Labor signs? Not at all! Thank goodness! I am terrified :(
• What I'm looking forward to? Preparing the house and nursery. And of course, holding my baby boy for the first time.

Camping in Townsend

We went camping this weekend with our friends Judd and Erin. We stayed in Townsend at the KOA. We had a blast. I strategically stay behind the camera. These days it is really not my friend. :)

Dr. Update

I went to the doctor on Monday. It was pretty uneventful (except the tornado warnings). Dr. Gernt said everything looked to be right on track. The radiologist reviewed my last ultrasound and said that the results were great. I guess that is good news! I go back on May 3rd for my glucose/sugar test. We are moving right along! I am getting excited :)

Happy 25th Birthday Brandon!

Brandon's birthday was Saturday. We had a great day. There was beautiful weather and we enjoyed some time outside. Brandon and John played some golf... or as they like to call it..."See who can hit the golf ball into the flower bed."

Amanda got Brandon a Kelty backpack to carry Owen in when he gets here. It is so nice! Of course we had to test it out with Lenny first. It passed the test!
