Baby Maynord Round 2

Yes, it has been over 5 months since I've written on this blog. Yes, a million things have happened in the last (almost) half a year. Yes, I will try to go back and highlight those really important moments. The primary reason I am writing today is to talk about the MOST exciting thing that is happening in our lives right now… and that is BABY MAYNORD #2!!! Yes, that's right, Owen is going to be a big brother come February 2015!

Brandon and I decided it was the right time and we could not be happier! I found out very early that we were expecting this one. I guess that's what happens when your anticipating it. So what a fabulous reason to start back up the ole' blog, am I right? I  loved having my pregnancy with Owen documented as a reference or just when I want to be sentimental and so here ya go… the online baby book (round 2) begins!

A little about my pregnancy so far:

How far along am I?  11 weeks (I announced this pregnancy earlier than I had originally intended due to some people finding out that I didn't expect-- but who am I kidding, I am not known for keeping secrets…especially when they are this big!)

Pregnancy Highlights so far: I had purchased a Doppler to listen to Owen's heartbeat, I cracked that bad boy out a couple of weeks ago. After a few failed attempts, I found that sweet little heartbeat nestled LOW. Now it is a new hobby of mine…listening to that sweet reassuring sound!

Weight gain? Not really. I gained a pound, I lost a pound. It is probably not related to pregnancy at all, and more about how many cookies I ate the night prior. So for right now, I am going to say no change in that department.

Cravings? No, just everything really. This girl loves to eat! Sweets, salty, sour… you name it!

Gender: September 3, with the big reveal on September 5th (as long as little bean cooperates). I am 100% feeling BOY with this one. Of course when I first found out this one was coming, I wanted a girl. But I can honestly say, I am leaning more towards boy these days. Trucks, trains, and polos…thats my expertise! Besides… I am not good at fixing my own hair, so Lord knows it won't come naturally for me if this one is a girl!

Movement: Not yet, but I can't wait! I was 20 weeks before I felt Owen, so I am not expecting it any time soon.

Symptoms: Some off and on bloating. One day I can button my pants, the next day…impossible. So sporadic!

Dr Visits: We saw Dr. Gernt this week. Listened to the heartbeat that was 176 bpm. Somewhat higher than Owen's 152 bpm at 10 weeks.

So here we go… Round 2!!
