How far along am I? 26 weeks
Pregnancy Highlights so far: Painting her room and seeing all of the pink! Owen was a great big brother…he was VERY insistent on helping. He then said he wanted his room pink. We compromised...
Weight gain? Yes…10 pounds. I am still watching this pretty closely, but I have decided to let myself enjoy this time. It may be the last time that I get to leisurely gain weight, but I would still like to keep the weight gain around 20-30 this time. We will see...
Cravings? Really anything at this point. I can flat put away some food!! Is it Thanksgiving yet?
Gender: GIRL! Annie (no we did not name her after the Zac Brown Song (click here to listen)- but do I sing it in my head every time I say her name…) We finally have one item with her name on it (see below). Needless to say I am obsessed. Nothing like seeing it in thread, am I right?
Movement: Oh heavens yes. She is the most active little thing, and I love it. I sat my coffee mug (yes-I give myself one cup a day) on my belly this morning to type this and she nearly knocked it off. I moved the cup.
Symptoms: Back pain and some hip pain. I am trying not to complain too much because this pregnancy has been relatively easy so far, but I do grunt and moan a little more these days.
Dr. Update: We went a couple of weeks ago, but nothing to report. Everything looked great. I go back the week of Thanksgiving for my glucose test. I passed it with Owen, so hoping that its the same for Annie. Fingers crossed!
Baby is the size of a Mango
Baby is the size of an Ear of Corn
Baby is the size of a Rutabaga
(around 1 1/2 pounds)
Baby is the size of a Zucchini
That sweet baby is definitely growing in there! I didn't do these weekly pictures when I was pregnant with Owen, and I wish that I had. So excuse the overload… I thought I would include some outtakes from our belly photos though… these are better than the ones that actually turned out! Enjoy…
Little poser… Isn't he precious!?
He loves having his belly photo taken as well...
Notice my child's face… Does it look like he is about to puke? Well no wonder, Brandon found a petrified piece of hamburger in his shoe (I wonder how it got there?). He laid it on the table for just a second to take this picture.
Next thing I knew, Owen was "crunching" on something… eeew.
This is me asking "Owen, what are you eating?"
Yep…still in his mouth.
"Owen spit it out!" Can you hear the conversation?
This is our talk about why we can't eat old food out of daddy's shoes.
This child…needless to say, he spit it out.
