Annie is weighing in at 13 pounds-ish. We won't go back to the doctor until September so until then...we shall guess. I know one thing... she is gaining!
She is now in 6 month clothing. I took out her preemie diaper from the hospital the other day. Just seeing the difference is amazing.
She tried peas for the first time this week! She did really well. She opened her mouth like a little baby bird for each bite! We are working on the swallowing part. Right now we just make a mess...but oh what a fun mess it is!
She is really close to sitting up. She wants to, but just doesn't have the strength yet. The Bumbo seat helps with this and we will continue to do her baby exercises.
Nighttime is...well it is going. I am tired... but I wouldn't trade it. She is my girl. And though she HATES sleep some days...we are getting there.
She laughed out loud for the first time! Of course the ONLY person that she will laugh at is Owen. Owen jumping on the bed is hilarious to her! She has the deepest sounding laugh...precious!
She is starting to play with toys. They interest her and you can see her little brain working when she has one in her hands.
Overall it has been a great month! We have a lot planned for the upcoming month...a beach trip, starting daycare...so stay tuned!!
